"Betsy Thomson is a jewel in the rough tapestry of NYC's music scene. Her message and delivery are incredible and given in a unique and intimate style. I had the privilege to work with her on her latest project - "Missions".

Distinctive, daring, soulful, atmospheric, and melodic, Betsy Thomson’s original compositions are well known in New York’s nightclub circuit, where she has performed for over two decades. Her music is popular for its organic use of Celtic, conceptual rock and folk elements. A true visionary artist, Thomson’s music is infused with her powerful musical identity, a passion for exploring contemporary, edgy composition, and a profound respect for important cultural and romantic musical traditions of the past.
Classically trained Thomson sang with the London Philharmonic Choir while living in London. In 1990 Betsy began writing and performing her own music. Thomson’s uncompromising song styles and unique voice have earned rave reviews from music critics in New York and abroad. "Betsy Thomson: Offering Wuthering Heights-gothic meets Joni Mitchell fearless folk and a little bit of Nina Hagan opera, dynamic, her searing orchestral epics are completely enveloping.” The Village Voice, NYC,
